The Minecraft world has tens of thousands of different modifications that significantly expand the game's possibilities. Thanks to this, hundreds of large-scale projects of various themes emerge, such as fantasy, space, high-tech, and industrial settings. The latter is particularly popular because it requires constant interaction with various energy sources, the use of multiple mechanisms, and the transportation of liquids and energy from different sources. However, all these "cables" ruin the overall aesthetics, and no matter which industrial mod we look at, the "picture" remains similar. Is there a way to fix this?

The Cable Facades mod adds unique structures (blocks) that allow you to hide cables from any industrial mods. Most of these add-ons are supported, and the developer periodically expands the list. There is a general list of blocks that can be hidden, and players can edit it and add their own entries if desired. The industrial mod category includes thousands of different add-ons, but certain mods are more commonly used in player-built modpacks.

This tool supports many major industrial mods, such as GregTechCEu Modern, LaserIO, Mekanism, Mekanism Extras, Modern Industrialization, Pipez, Pneumatic Craft Repressurized, Applied Energetics 2, and many more. This is a large collection of projects, each offering interesting blocks and mechanisms within the Minecraft universe. Most of them facilitate the transportation of various liquids and energy using pipes. With this mod, we can hide them efficiently. It introduces a completely new mechanic to conceal all transport pipes, making it a must-have for players who prioritize aesthetics and functionality.

For example, Applied Energetics 2 has its own set of cable facades that allow players to cover all cables and transport pipes. However, it requires placing these facades on all sides of a cable, which can be extremely time-consuming. While this method looks aesthetically pleasing, industrial-themed mods involve many tasks, making time the most valuable resource for any player. The Cable Facades mod offers a more efficient solution by allowing almost any block to be turned into a cascading facade. The game introduces a "blank" transparent block, the crafting recipe for which you can see in the screenshots.

You simply combine the new block with any material you want to use as a facade in the game, such as differently colored wool, valuable resources like diamonds or iron. Once selected, place it on the crafting table, and you will receive the same number of ready-made facades. Now, all you have to do is apply them to the pipes by clicking on each cable with the block in hand. The system will automatically wrap the cable with the chosen texture from all sides. See the difference? You will complete this task about four times faster than using standard methods. The process itself is straightforward, and the crafting recipe is incredibly simple for players.

The capabilities of the Cable Facades mod cover nearly all popular cable materials, not just those from Applied Energetics 2. The developer has added support for dozens of major industrial mods, so you can confidently install this tool and hide any structures using various mods. The most interesting part is that it supports not only vanilla Minecraft blocks but also all materials available in industrial modpacks. This provides a vast selection of blocks to quickly conceal cables in the game.

Now, any player can create cable facades in just a few clicks using this mod to cover cables from all sides. If you only need to cover one side, you can still use standard facades from industrial mods in the form of panels. However, Cable Facades is so convenient that once you start using it, you won’t want to go back to standard methods. If you frequently play with industrial modpacks and enjoy customizing your experience, we highly recommend adding this mod to quickly and effectively hide all types of cables. In Minecraft, functionality is important, but aesthetics matter too, right?
