In Minecraft, sooner or later every player fights different bosses — whether in the overworld or other dimensions. For example, the Ender Dragon or the Warden. And in modded versions of the game, the boss variety is even greater. You can battle many types of bosses, and each usually displays a health bar. Most of these bars look the same and differ only in the total amount of HP. If you’d like to change the appearance of these bars, you can install a separate mod that allows quick customization and adds more vibrant designs to the game.

The Enhanced Boss Bars mod changes the health bar design for any boss in the game — both for vanilla survival and modded mobs. Each creature will get its own distinct style. If you're only fighting a few vanilla ones, the benefits may not be as impactful.
