Hunter's Return

It is a small mod that adds just one but highly skillful new mob.  This hunterillager will randomly spawn in the game world and mercilessly kill all living things that come across its eyes, giggle darkly when winning, and drop valuable loot when defeated.

They usually live alone, as they are aggressive to everyone, including vanilla pillagers. You can find them in a characteristic detached hut amidst the plain. However, the generation sometimes fails, and several hunterillager appear in one place. Interestingly, they do not touch their counterparts for some reason, but that only complicates things for the player.

The mod also adds a separate structure, which is fortunately generated much less frequently — the hunterillager camp. It is a base similar to the pillager outpost, which hides numerous hunters.

The hunterillagers are divided into archers and swordsmen. In their other hand, they usually hold a horn or a new boomerang. The hunterillagers do have not that many health points — about the same number as the pillager swordsmen — but when there are a lot of them, it is quite difficult to fight them because of the application of different combat styles. Moreover, by eating the meat of killed mobs, they can regenerate quite quickly right during the battle. After death, they drop arrows, weapons, sometimes emeralds, horns, and suddenly meat, which belong to the animals they slaughtered.

After the cleaning-up of the hunterillager camp, you will find quite numerous and nice themed loot in the local chests. You should not expect to find iron or diamonds, but you can collect up to 20 skins from one barrel and several stacks of different meat from the entire camp. Besides, you may find boomerangs and other weapons in the chests.
