Although there are not many locations in the vanilla version of the game where you can fight various creatures and get valuable loot, don’t despair! There are various mods that allow you to literally expand the game’s functionality with a couple of clicks and add new structures, locations, different types of dungeons that give you additional loot, valuable rewards, achievements, the chance to prove yourself, and just diversify the standard vanilla Minecraft gameplay. In this article, we will tell you about one of the newest mods for the game that adds a really interesting structure…

The Illager War Trireme mod adds a warship “trireme” to Minecraft, mainly inhabited by illagers, evokers, vindicators, and many other mobs from the same category. They are all hostile to the player by default, and you won’t be able to sneak in here or fly in with Elytra. As soon as you approach the ship, the mobs immediately start an open attack, since most of them shoot with bows and crossbows, so you will have to bring a large supply of healing potions, good armor with enchantments, and simply know how to fight off a large number of mobs.

The new ship spawns mainly in warm ocean biomes. That means it can be either a regular warm ocean or a deep one. You won’t miss such a structure in the game world because the ship is very large and massive. It resembles some kind of Greek ship or a vessel from mythology or the Middle Ages. But the exterior is designed very cool: deck, sails, flags, various types of patterns. From a distance, you will also see how many flags with illagers are here. You won’t confuse this ship with any other, and it’s immediately clear that they will be hostile to you from the first minutes of appearance!

Most of the blocks on the ship are wood of different shades, but the most interesting fact is that the developer decided to use brick masonry in this building. It looks unusual and cool. For the vanilla Minecraft world, this is a very valuable and interesting structure because you have definitely never seen similar locations. You can get in only from above: there are no hidden hatches or passages below. But be ready that there are a lot of mobs on the ship, and all of them are hostile to the player. One such ship can have about 30-40 creatures, and additionally, several spawners are installed here to generate mobs!

On the deck you will see one or several cages where villagers are locked up. If you free them, you will get an achievement, but for this, you first need to defeat all hostile mobs, prevent spawning (for example, by placing torches on blocks) or destroy them. This is a serious challenge for players because you will have to fight a large number of mobs, each with its own characteristics and health pool. The Illager War Trireme mod developer has added bows and crossbows to most illagers, and these mobs will start attacking you even before your foot steps on the ship’s deck!

Throughout the structure, illagers move both inside and outside. Inside you can also find spawners that generate mobs, and if you want to stop spawning, just place torches on top. It works just like with any other spawner in the vanilla Minecraft game! Inside the ship, you will find a large number of chests and barrels with loot. In the screenshots, we roughly showed what resources are available to you: bows and crossbows, arrows, potions, swords, lots of emeralds, diamonds, gold and iron, enchanted books, lapis lazuli, and much more. The loot depends on the chest opened, but there are really many of them on the ship!

Be sure to walk through all the rooms, look into every corner, check all available barrels and chests to collect valuable loot. One inventory won’t be enough to carry all the contents, but that’s the players’ problem, right? To find such a structure, you can use a separate command in creative mode if you don’t have time: just enter /locate structure illager_war_trireme:illager_war_trireme and teleport to the specified coordinates. You can see on the screenshots how this ship looks, what advantages it has, and what are the features of this building. Overall, we can say that the location turned out to be very cool, rich, and detailed. Probably one of the best mods by this author!

Many related items spawn on the ship, such as workbenches, barrels, brewing stands, spawners, jugs, cauldrons with water, lava, and much more. If a player finds such a structure, after killing all mobs, they can quite possibly use it as a main or temporary home because it has everything needed for comfortable living!
