Minecraft users recreated many epochs, cities, and universes since it is a full-fledged sandbox, and almost every idea can be implemented here. Materials are selected mainly according to color and desired relief, but to make their creations more realistic, map designers often also resort to custom resource packs. In particular, if you often erect buildings in the style of ancient cities, say, of the Roman Empire, Egypt, or Greece, and need a large set of blocks of that epoch, we recommend reading our review to the end, as we are going to talk about an add-on called Let's Forge Ancient Bricks. You have certainly never seen such a set of resources in Minecraft before…

The Let's Forge Ancient Bricks mod adds a large set of unique blocks that correspond to different legendary epochs to the game. It includes elements of ancient cities of different epochs, full-fledged monolithic blocks, various patterned materials, arches, and much more. The content is truly rich, and the designers add it with each update, taking into account the wishes of the fan community. So if you are not yet familiar with the Let's Forge Ancient Bricks mod, it is time to fix this situation! We have not only fully described all the advantages of this add-on but also visually shown what content will be available in the game after its installation.

The Let's Forge Ancient Bricks mod provides players with numerous opportunities and adds a huge number of different ancient blocks. You will be able to erect any structures of ancient civilizations, literally recreating real prototypes bit by bit, including the Pyramids of Giza, the Athenian Acropolis, Stonehenge, temples, theaters, and buildings from Ancient Greece, Rome, Babylon, and Egypt. In short, the options are indeed numerous, and it is difficult to describe all the available opportunities in one article.

The mod adds several hundred blocks and slabs you will have to interact with. They include carved bricks, blocks with different inclusions, mixed options, and certain elements with patterns and drawings. It is immediately clear to which era a particular block belongs. Thus, it is better to use certain variants exclusively for the construction of Egyptian-style buildings, whereas others have to do with ancient Greece, and there are indeed a lot of options here. It is difficult to show all the advantages of Let's Forge Ancient Bricks in one review, as the effect is fully seen only after the construction of certain structures.

There are many block options that are a mixture of stone bricks with other materials, say, nether bricks, wood, and cobblestones. Such a combination of styles allows you to recreate almost any type of building in the game. So if you have not yet tested all the features of the Let's Forge Ancient Bricks mod, we recommend you download it right now, as there are a lot of decorative blocks here. They are divided into two tabs, blocks and slabs, and can be dark, bright, grey, and brown. All the basic in-game materials are used: granite, diorite, stone bricks, stone, bricks, etc.

While earlier, in the vanilla game version, you could only make one block from granite, after installing Let's Forge Ancient Bricks, you have way more opportunities. Thanks to this add-on, dozens of large maps have already been created, where players have recreated many buildings of Ancient Greece, Egypt, and Rome. The new content allows you to erect very colorful and spectacular structures corresponding to a particular epoch. Just look at the screenshots we have taken to roughly understand how high-quality and elaborate textures are used here. The designers of this add-on have worked on each block and made eye-pleasing textures for all the materials.

Another important content element is slabs. They are used by players to create volume and style, so each such half-block should also have approximately the same shades as the original block. Accordingly, you will also be able to craft steps, fences, slabs, and other variants from all the available materials. At the same time, Let's Forge Ancient Bricks adds several more important and unique options, namely columns and double columns. So if you decide to erect some amphitheaters or other buildings of that time, you will be able to recreate their real prototypes.

It is difficult to convey the full range of emotions from using such mods in one article, as you will see the result only after the actual construction of a specific building. However, you can also download ready-made structures of a particular style and epoch and automatically or manually replace all their blocks with materials added by Let's Forge Ancient Bricks. The structure will transform beyond recognition and will fully correspond to the real prototype! Be sure to write in the comments what wonders of the world or individual buildings you would like to recreate in Minecraft.
