In the vanilla world of Minecraft, there is a large selection of animals you can interact with: sheep, cows, ocelots, wolves, and many other options. But the game community constantly develops and updates third-party mods, thanks to which the total number of all living creatures in the game world can be significantly increased. In this article, we will tell you about the Living Things add-on, which adds many realistic animals to Minecraft. Most of them exist in real life, and the developer of this mod tried to make the textures and 3D models of all creatures in the cubic world as high quality as possible.

The Living Things mod will add real existing animals, and now they will be in Minecraft, only in the form of pixel graphics. For example, here you will see a shark, you can meet a giraffe, lionesses, lions, flamingos, penguins, elephants, and many other creatures. The developer constantly improves his product and adds new animals to the game world to make it more interesting for you to play among such diversity. In this article, we tried not only to describe but also to show you in detail the advantages of each mob, how they differ, how they look, and much more.

Developers from Mojang constantly receive proposals to add this or that mob to the game that exists in real life. If you are also among such players, then you definitely need to download this mod to get a huge number of different creatures in one pack. You will have to explore jungles and other types of biomes, but be prepared that nature here and the surrounding world are not so friendly. These can be both friendly mobs and hostile ones, which by default do not treat the character very well and are ready to attack at the first meeting!

As mentioned earlier, Living Things really has a large number of new animals, each of which has a certain appearance, behavior, and characteristics. We will tell you about some of them so that you have a rough idea of what each mob gives in the game:
· Raccoon. It eats different types of food, so feeding such an animal is very easy. For example, it can consume wheat, beetroot, apples, carrots. It has 7 health points, and if it attacks, it deals 1.5 damage points.

· Shark. This is one of the most recognizable mobs in this mod. They will spawn mainly in deep water bodies, are aggressive towards the player, and move very quickly in water. If the player is in a water biome where sharks are present, attack is inevitable. They deal 3 damage points and have 10 hearts of health.

· Elephants. Massive animals with detailed design and high-quality textures, 3D figures. Quite friendly towards the player and others around. They can be tamed with apples, and if you put a saddle and attach a chest, you can ride this animal and also carry different types of loot. They attack only if hit.

· Giraffes. Very beautiful and tall animals in Minecraft that mostly live in the savanna. You cannot tame them but you can breed them. The developer added a chance for an albino giraffe spawn in the Living Things mod.

· Lions. Predatory animals that can deal a lot of damage to their enemy. They are aggressive towards everyone, including players. They cannot be tamed or bred, so you can only observe them from a distance.

· Flamingos. Beautiful birds that stand out because of their appearance. The pink tint is visible in almost any biome, so you will never miss such a mob in the game world. They are friendly towards players.

· Penguins. Beautiful creatures in the Minecraft game world that can swim, dive, and move on land. Overall, they are neutral mobs but somewhat shy if they see a player nearby. Polar bears can attack the animals.

· Owls. In the Living Things mod, you will also see owls, although dozens of third-party mods for Minecraft exist where the appearance of these animals is much more detailed. But since there are many different creatures here, the developer decided to add them too.

We listed only some of the creatures added to the game world after installing this mod. It is recommended to explore all main biomes because animals are scattered across different locations, for example, some in the savanna, others in snowy biomes, and so on. This mod adds a huge number of creatures to the game world and is probably one of the best tools to seriously expand the list of mobs in the game. Each creature has specific characteristics, behavior style, loot, taming ability, color variants, and much more.

This add-on will include not only realistic friendly mobs but also several types of hostile creatures made in the likeness of vanilla variants, for example, ifrits. Such mobs can deal serious damage to players and other creatures, live in different dimensions, and drop interesting loot upon death. The mod developer constantly improves his product to add more new mobs to the gameplay and various types of loot that will interest players.

The mod developer also added summon eggs for all mobs available. In creative mode, you can summon any of them with one click. This is not only fast but also very convenient. To view information about mobs, you can use the JEI add-on and corresponding addons for it, which include data about loot, health parameters of creatures, and much more. Overall, it can be said that the Living Things add-on is recommended for installation for any game version if you want to expand the game world and add realistic animals to Minecraft.
