Passive Skill Tree

A mod that adds a new, RPG-type skill upgrading system to Minecraft. Fight mobs, get experience, and buy special skill points that will help you reach the master level in a variety of passive skill fields.

There are 6 main development branches totally added: the Blacksmith, the Alchemist, the Cook, the Hunter, the Miner, and the Enchanter. The deeper and in more detail a particular branch is upgraded, the more different goodies the player gets. Thus, the maximum upgrade of the Blacksmith allows the player to craft a super-strong armor, and when upgrading the Alchemy to the highest levels, the player’s potions will get a really killing power or boost their strength by time.

Gems

Gems are a new in-game item, which has a random chance of being dropped from any ore. Gems will come in handy to those who are interested in upgrading their blacksmithing and mining skills. If there are slots for upgrades in your armor, it is the gems that make these upgrades.

Each gem is unique and adds different bonuses to armor, artifacts, or weapons, depending on where you put them. They don’t only give new buffs, but some of them may take away the things they consider «unnecessary» for the sake of something else. For example, Turquoise inserted into a necklace will significantly reduce your enchantment level, but the one in a ring will, on the contrary, increase your charms by +2 points.

Rings and necklaces

Rings and necklaces are the items you craft on the workbench and carry in a special slot in the player menu. These are actually artifact items that provide the player with certain skills, such as boosted health, attack power, additional experience gained, or faster treatment.

You can craft rings and necklaces with ready-made effects or without effects at all, leaving a few empty slots for future upgrades. Besides, in addition to the already imposed effects, every artifact jewelry will by default have one empty slot for upgrades.

Quiver

You can also craft a special quiver for your arrows so that they don’t take up much space in your inventory. One common quiver keeps as many as 250 arrows.

Beyond that, you can upgrade the quiver for it to automatically apply various effects to the arrows and the player.
