What resources do you gather when you travel to the End? Most players first try to kill the Dragon—that’s the main task—but over time you need elytra and shulkers, and you have to climb onto the islands to get the desired loot. However, at the beginning, players have few resources to fight shulkers, yet they want to get as many shells as possible to craft at least a few boxes. Sounds familiar? And if you don’t like the loot you get from shulkers, you can change it a bit. A special mod was created exactly for this purpose, allowing you to configure the drop from these mobs in detail. Here each player decides what values to set so as not to break the game’s balance.

The Shulker Drops Two modification adds a separate configuration file to the game, allowing you to choose how many shells drop from killing a single shulker. You do remember that even in the vanilla version there is a chance of getting zero drops, right? Now you decide whether such a chance will exist or whether you will always get at least one item from the mob. Despite having such a simple function, the mod offers many advantages and features, which is why we decided to prepare a detailed review of it, highlighting all the most important points. There are few parameters here, but even they are enough to significantly change the gameplay in the End and either break or restore balance depending on the server’s rates.

Using shulkers in Minecraft is relevant at any stage of survival, because these containers help players a lot, allowing them to transport large amounts of resources and blocks over long distances. Often players take several shulkers with them when going to other biomes or teleporting to different dimensions, since they can be filled “to the brim” with various resources. However, even to craft just a few of these items, you first have to travel to the End to kill a shulker and obtain at least two shells (that’s exactly how many are needed to craft a shulker box). And specifically for those who are not satisfied with the standard drop from these mobs, this mod was created.

After installing Shulker Drops Two, the configuration file will contain several parameters:

· alwaysDropShells – whether to always drop the minimum number of shells after killing a mob. If set to True, the drop from a shulker will always match the value you specify in the next setting;

· shulkerDropAmount – how many shells drop from killing one mob. The maximum value is 64 units, meaning each shulker can give you a full stack of resources.

These settings are available both in the configuration file and through ModMenu or other similar in-game addons. This means you don’t need to open the launcher folder and search for the specific files—instead, you can simply find the relevant settings via the game interface and adjust everything there. This mechanic actually provides many advantages, and we will highlight a few important features of the mod:

· Simple configuration. Almost any category of player can change the parameters, regardless of how they play. There are only two parameters, and only the second one controls the number of shulker shells;

· Balance adjustment. Depending on the server type, each player can choose suitable values. For example, certain settings work well for classic Minecraft projects, while others are better for industrial ones;

· Game simplification. Using this functionality, you can slightly simplify the process of obtaining shulkers in the game world, although this does not drastically affect balance, since experienced players know how to build full shulker farms that produce stacks of items;

· Limits. The maximum drop is limited to 64 units, and this restriction prevents “killing” a server, since too many dropped resources could crash the project.

The Shulker Drops Two modification offers simple yet clear functionality for all users, where you just change a couple of parameters and freely gather resources in the End. It is mostly suited for single-player survival when you are alone in the world, or for multiplayer servers if the project owner needs to adjust the drop rates—either increase or decrease them depending on the theme. Install the mods, try changing the parameters, and see how the shulker loot changes. Just keep in mind that adjusting these values may significantly lower the demand for such resources among players, and this may slightly affect the project’s overall economy.
