What interesting artifacts exist in the vanilla version of Minecraft? For example, you can use elytra for fast air travel, sponges to remove water from aquatic biomes, or ender eyes for teleportation over a certain distance. But in the regular world, all of this, let’s say, gets a bit "boring," and with such a developed fan community constantly releasing new mods, of course, you’ll want to try something new! That’s why we’ve found an amazing and very unusual mod for you that literally lets you "eat" mobs, consuming them with a single button press!

The Spoonful of Mobs mod introduces a new artifact – a spoon. With it, you can eat almost any mob that crosses your path. One click – and the creature is gone! It doesn’t matter whether it was a ghast, creeper, zombie, frog, ocelot, or any other mob. They can all be eaten in a single action, but there’s a subtle mechanic at play here that you’ll need to understand. In addition to this new artifact, the player gains access to new enchantments that provide additional effects and abilities when consuming mobs in the game world. How do you usually fight mobs in the game world? You might use melee or ranged weapons, trap them with blocks, push them into lava, or set up different types of farms to quickly gather experience. Bosses are a bit trickier—for example, when fighting the Ender Dragon, you first need to destroy the towers so it doesn’t regenerate health before you can start attacking it directly. But you can bypass all of this by using the mod from our review! You’ll get access to a unique artifact that lets you "eat" any mob in the game world. It’s even possible that you can consume mobs from other mods the same way. This is a new and unique gameplay experience in Minecraft that’s definitely worth checking out…

You’ll receive a special spoon, which serves as your main weapon. You can see the crafting recipe in the screenshots we’ve provided. Using this spoon, you can eat any mob with a single click, just by approaching it. Ghasts may be trickier since they float away, but creepers, zombies, skeletons, and other creatures can be devoured almost instantly! However, the Spoonful of Mobs mod includes not just one spoon, but two! The first one is smaller, while the second is much larger. If the mob is big, you’ll need the bigger spoon. It’s enormous—if you look at your character holding it, the item is several times bigger than the player!

This new artifact comes with several unique enchantments that are exclusive to this mod and this item. Below are the main effects to help you decide which enchantments to use:

· Iron Stomach (Level I-IV) – Reduces negative effects when consuming other food items and mobs. At level IV, no negative effects are applied to the player;

· Fast Eater (Level I-II) – Decreases the cooldown time of the spoon after consuming a mob. Yes, this item has a cooldown, so you won’t be able to eat indefinitely without pauses;

· Leftover Toss (Level I) – When consuming mobs, you gain the ability to throw their remaining projectiles, depending on what you’ve eaten;

· Gluttonous (Level I) – Allows the player to consume mobs even if they are not hungry and have a full hunger bar. However, the spoon’s cooldown time will be significantly increased. The player may also receive a "Slowness" effect from overeating.

Which effects you choose is up to you, but even the basic spoon is powerful enough to devour most mobs in the game world quickly. They will disappear in seconds, leaving behind some loot and experience points for you to collect. This mechanic is particularly useful when you don’t have a weapon on hand or need to eliminate a mob immediately—just swallow it, and it’s gone. However, this method isn’t ideal for farms since the spoon has a cooldown between uses. Still, the concept is incredibly unique, and this mod is definitely worth trying out to see how it works.

Check out the screenshots to see the crafting recipes for the new spoons in the game. The textures are highly detailed, though the larger spoon is truly gigantic, towering over the player. Don’t forget that these new artifacts can be enchanted, offering additional abilities that allow you to devour mobs in just a couple of clicks. This mechanic works in both single-player Minecraft and multiplayer servers, though excessive use of the spoons by multiple players could affect performance, so keep that in mind!
