You can find these items very early in your survival, which is why nearly every player has torches no matter where they are in the world. And if you don’t like the vanilla torch mechanics, it’s time to change something. Below you will see the advantages of Torch Tosss:

· Torch throwing. You can throw a torch in any direction, both horizontally and vertically. It travels at roughly the same speed. As soon as it reaches any block, it attaches to that surface;

· Igniting mobs and players. Using this mod, you can set any creature or player on fire simply by throwing a torch at them. If the item hits a living mob, it ignites it and deals some damage. This is another way to kill hostile creatures or players;

· Support for all dimensions. You can use torches in this style in almost any dimension, whether vanilla or modded. For example, you can ignite mobs in the End or Nether—another option for a new type of weapon;

· Realistic physics. The higher you aim, the farther the torch will fly. However, the mechanic does not work perfectly, and sometimes aiming precisely is difficult. There will still be a slight spread, so keep that in mind;

· Preserving the old mechanic. To attach a torch to a surface when throwing, you must hold Shift. If you don’t press it, the torch will remain in your hand, meaning you effectively have two mechanics: the standard one and the new Torch Tosss method;

· Improved conditions for players. No matter what you do in the game (miner, builder, warrior), the torch-throwing mechanic provides many advantages, making survival more interesting and a bit easier—an additional motivation for players;

· Access to hard-to-reach places. If you cannot light up an area in the vanilla version but need to see what is there, the modification from our review is ideal, offering a convenient mechanic;

· Breaking blocks. If you throw a torch under sand or gravel, these blocks will fall and break automatically, just as intended by the game’s default mechanics.

This system allows you to quickly light up any area around you—above or below. For example, if you need to descend into a mine but it’s very dark and you can’t see what’s down there, simply throw a torch to illuminate the area. The same applies to mines or dungeons located above you: toss several torches upward and the space will be lit. This stops the spawning of hostile creatures and lets you see everything around without using potions or other effects.

The Torch Tosss modification adds a very important and interesting feature to Minecraft, bringing the game closer to real conditions.
