Villager Tannery House is a small mod adding one new structure to the vanilla world – a shepherd and tanner’s house. Two craftsmen live together away from the main village in their cozy home. You can trade with them by buying or selling items made of leather or wool.

Structure

The shepherd and tanner’s house is made entirely of vanilla blocks. Mostly oak and dark wood, with cobblestone as the foundation, overgrown with vines on the outside. The interior of the house is minimalist but carefully detailed, creating a feeling of comfort and coziness inside.

The first floor of the house contains the workshop and two windows from which the villagers can trade. The second floor is a bedroom with two brown beds and decorative details. The tiny third floor serves as an attic, where a chest is hidden among the clutter. You can find loot of varying rarity in it, depending on your luck. Starting with leather and wool, up to emeralds and golden apples. Also, you can reach this chest from the bed on the second floor by opening the correct hatch in the ceiling.

The added structure generates in plains and forests. And if your search takes too long, you can use the /locate command. It will show the coordinates of the structure you need, where you can instantly teleport using /tp. Cheats must be enabled in the world settings for all commands to work correctly. The shepherd and tanner trade standard profession items. You can buy dyed leather armor, saddles, and other leather goods from an upgraded tanner. The shepherd sells wool, paintings, and many dyes.

Compatibility

Villager Tannery House uses only vanilla blocks, smoothly integrating into the game. This mod also has good compatibility with other modifications, allowing it to be added to virtually any modpack.
